bake some chicken breasts, then top with cheese (melted), tomatoes, mushrooms and onions, served with saute potatoes, pea's and baked Tomatoes (halved). And a side of Garlic bread.
Is an easy meal to make, heavy on the carbs, makes people feel full and lethargic, so will get lucky afterwards. lol
good luck and enjoy

Keep it super simple! Maybe a nice green salad. Get some mixed greens and if you want to make it more fancy than a regular salad, get some sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and a Granny Smith apple. Chop up the apple, preferably peeling it first, and put the apple, cranberries, and almonds on top of the greens. If you and she like blue cheese, sprinkle a little of that on top, and use a little vinaigrette dressing. In the interest of keeping it simple, you may want to use a bottled dressing or something like Good Seasons mix. Otherwise, try looking up some vinaigrette dressing recipes - they're generally pretty simple. For a main course, maybe something simple but delicious like a roast chicken. I don't have a favorite recipe, but again, you can look that up on the net and find a lot of easy recipes. Have that with something simple like steamed asparagus and rolls. For dessert, go simple and luxurious. If you've already overtaxed your cooking skills, just buy a few lovely chocolate truffles, some raspberries, some strawberries, and if you wish, some champagne. Wash the berries, and just arrange it all on a lovely plate and share. Keeping it simple is best, because if you stress too much, you won't have any fun and you won't BE any fun. If you're more relaxed, it will be a much nicer evening. Also, most girls - at least the ones who are worth it - will appreciate the efforts regardless of the outcome!

This is a good one and something my husband loves. Thi ssounds like alot of work, but it really isn't. I promise.
First, for an appitizer chill some wine glasses in the freezer. Once they are chilled fill 3/4 of the way with crushed ice and then top the ice with cold cocktail sauce and then ring the glass with shrimp cocktail sized shrimp, and a lemon wedge. This is an AWESOME presentation and so much fun to eat. You could carry the glasses to the table on a plate lined with a linen napkin.
So, for the dinner, keep it simple.
Ingredients:
20 to 30 shrimp with no tails
1 bag of pre cooked grilled chicken stips cut into bite size pieces (don't buy the frozen, just grab the Tyson ones in the meat section)
Garlic
Olive oil
Butter, not the margerine, real butter
Salt/pepper
Linguini, cooked not rinsed
Fresh Parsley
Lemon
Artichokes, chopped
Capers
A cup of White Wine
In a large pan, heat oil and butter combo, about 4 tablespoons of each. Add the garlic and saute for a few minutes, not burning. Add the chicken and shrimp and cook until the shrimp is done. Add the rest of the ingredients (including the wine) and heat for about 5 minutes, let the alcohol burn off and reduce, then add the noodles that have been cooked and drained but not rinsed and mix it all up and top with fresh parsley and lemon juice when you plate it.
For Dessert you can make these ahead....
Chilled wine glasses
vanilla pudding (You could buy the pudding cups and transfer them to the glasses, eliminating cooking)
chocolate pudding
crushed oreos
cool whip
In the wine glasses, add a layer of vanilla pudding, then a layer of crushed oreos and then chocolate pudding and keep going until you top it with cool whip and more oreos!
You will win his heart with this meal!
Good luck and have fun!

Something easy to make and delicious: Mediterranean chicken
You will need:
2 chicken breasts (or more if you're a big eater)
some mozzarella sliced or cut into cubes
a courgette sliced
come cherry tomatoes
Olive oil
Some fresh basil or any herbs of your choice such as rosemary or orgegano
salt and pepper
Method:
1) Take a piece of tin foil (You will wrap the chicken in this so make sure it is big enough) and drizzle some olive oil on the foil
2) Place the chicken on top of the oiled tin foil and add a handful of mozzarella cubes, another of courgette and another of cherry tomatoe. add the herbs and season with more olive oil and salt and pepper.
3) Now wrap the chicken up with the tin foil making a parcel for it to cook in the oven. and do the same for the other breasts.
4) Cook in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes on about 180C
5) Serve with roast mediterranean potatoes (Same as roast potatoes but cooked with olive oil, sliced onion, bacon and rosemary)
Enjoy!

Mixed Fruit and Spring Greens with White Chocolate-Orange Vinaigrette
Salad:
1 (15-ounce) can Mandarin oranges
5 ounces pre-washed spring greens
2 cups fresh strawberries, quartered
1/2 pint blueberries
Dressing:
1/4 cup Champagne wine vinegar
1/3 cup reserved Mandarin orange juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons olive oil
Drain Mandarin oranges and reserve juice. In a large bowl, combine salad greens and fruit. Set aside.
To make the dressing, in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine vinegar, 1/3 cup reserved Mandarin juice, salt, and sugar. Gently heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in white chocolate until melted. Set aside to cool. Do not refrigerate, as white chocolate will set.
Before serving, slowly whisk in olive oil. Spoon desired amount over salad and toss. Serve remaining dressing on side.
Grilled New York Strip with Chocolate Merlot Sauce
Sauce:
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 medium-sized yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 jalapeno, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups Merlot wine
1 tablespoon onion soup mix
3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
Steak:
2 (1- inch thick) New York strip steaks
1/4 cup taco seasoning mix
In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, and jalapeno, saute until soft, about 5 minutes. Add Merlot and reduce by half over high heat. Reduce heat to low and stir in soup mix and chocolate. Stir until smooth. Keep warm on very low heat until ready to serve.
Preheat grill pan over high heat. Season steaks with taco seasoning. Spray pan with cooking spray and grill to desired doneness.
Serve steaks with chocolate Merlot sauce.
Cherry Almond Rice Mexicana
1 (15-ounce) can pitted cherries
2 cups instant brown rice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped almonds, toasted
Drain canned cherries, reserving juice. Coarsely chop enough cherries for 1/2 cup and set aside. Save remaining cherries for another use.
In a medium saucepan, add reserved cherry juice (approximately 2/3 cup) plus enough water to equal 2 cups. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in remaining ingredients, except chopped almonds. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in toasted chopped almonds. Serve.
Chocolate Almond Fondue
1 1/4 cups half-and-half
1 teaspoon almond extract
24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup amaretto
For Dipping:
Strawberries, desired amount
Bananas, desired amount
Pound cake, desired amount
Butter cookies, desired amount
Apples, desired amount
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine half-and-half and almond extract. Heat until bubbles begin to form at edge of cream. Do not boil. Reduce heat to low and stir in chocolate chips, stirring constantly. Once all of the chocolate is melted and incorporated, slowly stir in amaretto until combined.
Pour chocolate mixture into fondue pot and serve with goodies for dipping.
Cook's Note: You can use this recipe with a heated chocolate fountain.
