My hair is the same way. I got a really bad hair cut last summer and it's just finally starting to grow back to something managable. I usually add volumizing mousse, blow dry my hair with a round comb (that adds volume and curls the ends in), and it's faster than curling it with a curling iron. Then I tie my bangs back with a clear elastic tie or some clips. It only takes a few minutes. I am a mom of 2 I don't have time to play with my hair. But I like the way it turns out now...

I have the same haircut! What I've done that isn't time consuming and my stylist advised me to do to get the lift at the roots is first blow-dry my hair while wet from my shower and keep my head upside-down. While you blow-dry your hair with your head upside-down, be sure to pull your hair with your available hand (no brush needed for this) out straight and blow-dry the base of your hair so when you flip it up it was blown in the opposite direction, giving it more body. After you've done that, get 4 medium sized velcro rollers, and place each roller in the desired lift spot, spray lightly with hairspray (onto the dry hair) and let sit while doing makeup, eating breakfast or what have you. After approx 10 min or more, you just remove them and use a straightener or manipulate your hair so it has no kinks in it from the rollers. AMAZING LIFT! I always thought your hair had to be wet when using rollers, but it's not true and I'm so happy I found this trick out after I just cut my hair 10 inches!

Well if you have curly hair just leave it like it is maybe pulling back a few strands. But if you have straight hair you could take the hair in front of your forehead and pull it back and clip it... very cute and easy style.... and always remember you can get a defuser if you want it curly.

You could go the Spears route. She has to be happy the way it turned out, at least she will have to be for a while.
