So there was this guy who I found out liked me on my birthday and he got me two chocolate covered prezels as a gift because he found out it was my birthday during luch that day and it was the only thing he could buy for me. I thought it was sweet because of the thought not because of what it was. So after that day we began talking a lot and whenever something would happen like if he got into a fight with his parents he would text me about it and I would make him feel better and we would text each other until really late at night talking about stuff. Then all the sudden he stops texting me and he began to make me feel ignored around his friends. We went on two dates and told my friend that he was going to ask me out soon and he also told me that and said he hadn't already because he wanted to make sure we are confortable around each other. Then my friend talked to him and he said to her that he never saw us together and that I was moving to fast (which I wasn't). What should I do???

And the problem is that he has been so sweet and I really like him and I am also new at this school and it makes it hard to find someone new. So I can't find someone new and that makes it even harder to get over him.

Ask him what's up. More than likely he is getting ragged on by his friends for his "crush." Sometimes it is created by jealousy because maybe some of his friends didn't stand a chance, so they will make it seem uncool to be with you. Guys can be mean like that (so can girls). The best way to deal with it, is head on. Ask him what the deal is, either he likes you or he doesn't. More importantly, make sure your confidence doesn't depend on his liking you or not.
