Why is it that most teenagers, say that they are Christian but serveys say that over 50 % are having sex, so why do teenagers say that they are christians if they don't live their life like they are?

Same for most adults. They think that either being raised christian, or saying a prayer and/or getting wet makes them a christian. Truth is, it is only repenting of our sins and puting our faith and trust in Christ alone that makes us born again, and makes us christians. Otherwise they are just false converts.

Just because your Christian you can have different thoughts on the way your religion thinks things. Who knows maybe 25% are already married. Besides you can't say you've never sinned in your life. Not to mentiopn some are only Christian because of their parents.

Obviously, Christianity is at odds with nature.

Studies show that the Christian girls with the strictest upbringings, those who take "virginity pledges" sponsored by their churches, are several times more likely to engage in premarital oral and even anal sex.

Nobody can deny biology, however they may moralize on it. Some teenagers are going to have sex. The more restrictive and forboding you are about it, the more they're going to want to know what the fuss is about, and they may even start looking for "loopholes" in their virginity contracts...lol.

Because when you teach them about courting they are too busy looking for a Father figure, because there is no father in the home, or they are the only christians in the home, there are so many other pressures and factors today that teens are facing, its a wonder all the teen girls are not pregnant.

Churchianity is a heathen religion, and so it cannot inspire obedience. The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

Most Christian churches aren't even teaching what the Bible says. They are into this praise and worship idea where you go to church to learn how great you are and not how great God is. Everything is backwards now in churches. If a church is correct in it's teaching it will teach that man is a sinner and needs a Saviour. You don't go to church to have your pitiful self esteem boosted up and to go feel good about yourself. You go to learn how to be better than you currently are. It's called epistomological rehabilitation.

They may be Christian, but they're only human too. Most Christians don't practice as they preach.

one because they parents are so they think they are, two because maybe as Kid's they were forced into religion so now they are rebelling, three because there church is not teaching them everything about it, four because of peer pressure to do that stuff and last but not least because they are stupid and don't know any better (and do say I'm putting kids down because I'm 16 myself and i got to church i love it when my teen group goes to AFT(acquire the fire))

They are not mature in their faith. The older they get hopefully the more they will understand what they are doing.

Moreover, we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God. Thank God for Jesus!!!

Most teenagers today don't even care about religion. All they care about is the media. Some, like me, have even lost hope. If God is so graceful...then why is the world so corrupt? Why are people killing themselves everyday? And if God is eternally forgiving...then why do souls burn in Hell?
