As far as I know, they do. One of the guys I work with has ADD, as long as the medication doesn't affect your ability to work or the condition isn't that severe you shouldn't have a problem, sit down with a recruiter and find out the details just in case something has changed recently about that policy, good luck.

Today, I should think that as long as your are alive and breathing they'll accept anyone - no offence meant to anyone with any disabilities.
As I understood things, they appear to be so desperately short of cannon fodder, they are willing to accept recruits from prisons.
Go figure that one out !
Wy would anyone with ADD WANT to join the military?
Even though they may just be looking for cannon- fodder, today's Military need computer degrees just to get the simplest of jobs - to operate a weapon - that's if you live long enough to get to use it.
There are so many other things you could be doing to help the Military and do something worthwhile that could make a difference.
The flip side of the coin is that someone with ADD COULD inadvertantly put his colleagues at risk if that person doesn't fully understand the orders he's given, and in times of conflict and war, soldiers are lucky if they have the time to spare to gve the order ONCE. They will not have the time to explain things to someone with ADD in order to make sure that person receives the basic duty of care to ensure his/her safety.
Simple as that.
I apologize for making it sound brutal and frank, but, if someone with ADD does enlist, there is the understood likelihood that that person will end up on some front line or in some conflict sometime during his/her career.
Maybe you could consider a civilian employment with the Navy..
Good luck anyway

Military discount is for active duty or retired military personnel with a current ID. My son was able to get his phone on a military program (Verizon) with a copy of his orders to boot camp.

Yes they will accept you with ADHD. Also a great site to check out is: todaysmilitary.com or you can check out the navy.com
My hubby is in the army and has ADHD and is currently deployed. The only issue that he has is he is not medicated. So I would talk to a recruiter to determine if you can be medicated if that is an issue for you.

Having a diagnosis of ADD or ADHD is not disqualifying in itself, but taking medication for it is.
