I think the name is pretty, but it has been mentioned here that it would be hard to pronounce and spell. I do agree with that. A name is a very personal thing and when a parent gives a name to a child, it is usually chosen from the heart. With that said, I think it is terrible that some people are so rotten as to say that its gay or make anything other than the constructive criticism you asked for.
If you feel in your heart that Nahvionna is the name you would like to give your child, then do it. I have a first name that can be spelled several different ways and a last name that can be spelled two different ways. You get used to spelling your name over time. I don't think anything of it anymore. Heck, I even have to spell my street name and its longer than my first and last name put together. You might want to try alternate spellings. How about Nahviana? I think it would be less difficult for people to pronounce that way. It seems a little more straight forward.
Anyway, the name is pretty and you should name your child what your heart tells you to. Many of the answerers on this forum are real wise crackers and only answer to get their two points with very little regard for your feelings. Do what your heart tells you to, not what some "Yahoo" tells you to do. You'll be happier in the long run. Blessings,

I was cursed with a name "creatively spelled". Please don't do this to your child. She's not going to thank you for all the times that her friends spell her name wrong. She's not going to thank you for all the times people think she's Arabic or from the ghetto.
Give your child a name that will be memorable for its beauty, not for its difficulty spelling or pronouncing. Let your child have a name that won't be stereotyped as ethnic or regional. Just remember that the people interviewing her in 20 years will be named Ryan, Jennifer and Benjamin. They're less likely to be impressed by something made up and difficult to remember.
BTW, I curtailed my name to just 3 letters because I got tired of being confused for someone who didn't know how to spell my name. The alumni association at the University of Michigan is sure I am a man and still sends all my mail with a male version of my name. Don't wish that on your kids...

No, not only would you have to spell that for people, you'd have to spell it twice for most, and they'd still get it wrong. Can you take out the extra letters? Navionna, or Naviona, to make it a bit simpler? Also, be sure your last name is super simple, like Smith as opposed to Owetljkkxxww.

I agree with HSK's mom... Who needs another Ryan, Jennifer, or Benjamin? The world is full of them. I think your name will be remembered for its beauty. It doesn't look like Genevieve's mom chose a name for her kid for its ease of spelling either! It's obvious to me that since you asked a similar question 4 weeks ago, that you really love the name. Do what you think is right.

It is a nice name, but keep in mind people will always mispronounce it. My name is the same, and it is a bit annoying to have to constantly correct people.

I like the name too. Perhaps spelled Novianna. Different is good.
