just go for one size bigger. too big can be just as bad as too small, if the skates are too big, they'll give him blisters and won't support his feet/ankles properly. have u tried JJB sports ? they used to sell them when i worked there - and i imagine that they still will. try typing 'buy roller skates - uk websites' into an internet search engine, it'll give u a list of websites who'll stock them.

Roller skates I'm not sure about, but ice skates and dance shoes are usually a half size to a full size smaller (I'm 8.5 in regular shoes, 8 in most dance and 7.5 in figure skates). I was in kids sizes last time I was in roller skates, but I'm pretty sure they're a half size down. Depends on the brand too of course. Check to see if the website for the brand you are considering has a sizing chart. You'd probably be okay with a 6 1/2

only one size bigger. that's all you need if there too big he wont be able to skate properly as his foot will slide up and down. happy skating. Argos or toys are us sell skates. both have web sites so you can check price and availability good luck and happy birthday to your son i know what it is like when your child has there heart set on something i have two boys of my own.

about 1 size bigger, as he'll prob want thick socks to wear for comfort. try large toy stores in your area or argos/index
