Hello UncleWayn... :)

I teach Childrens Church..3 - 6 year olds..they are so precious.. :)

First we prayed for little Austin's finger.. :)

I taught the little ones about obeying rules..why should we not cross the road without looking both ways..why our parents tell us not to do some things..why should we listen to our Moms and Dads..etc.. :)

I had made some Good Job Badges with their Names on them..they were so excited..

I also had the Ten Commandments printed on paper in the childrens language (so they could understand) We put hearts on the side that was Loving God..on the other side it was for Loving others.. :)

We had peanut butter crackers (they were not made with Peter Pan nor with Great Value) and milk for snack..

We sang if you are Happy and You know it clap your hands.. :)

Then we bowed our heads and I asked the Lord to watch over these sweet little children until we see each other again next Sunday.. :)

I had a GREAT DAY..

How was your day today... :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

The sermon was OK, and was about coping with offense, but the real blessing today came in the time of worship. I was able to sense the immediate presence of God and felt I had pressed in beyond the Holy place and entered into the Holy of Holies, the place where His glory dwells.
Is there anything in the whole universe like the presence of GOD?
Have you come to know Him in this way?

The sermon was on the differant monitary offerings. Last weeks lesson was on indentured servants that is still going on, Slavery that was still going on, and the prono industry were the women are sex slave, quite an eye popping sermon.

in my Catholic church today our gospel reading was from Luke - 6:27-38. as we are about to enter into our lenten season (the 40 days before Easter) we were talked to about forgiveness and compassion. how even sinner love those who love them and it's through Jesus that we are taught to love those who harm us the most. last weeks sermons was about the beautitudes and the deacon tied to two in together (meek, poor, etc). reminding us all about doing unto others/loving one antoher. how in doing God's will you are alive - not in how much money you make. he also recommended we read and meditate on all of Luke 6 before mass on wednesday.
oh he also reminded of us how Jesus changed things for the better. how in tobit there is the simialr "do unto others as you would have then do unto you" but it's in the negative (do not do to others that you do not want done unto you). how, with the love and teachings of Jesus, He puts things - even those hardest to do (loving those who harm you) into a positive light. sure they mean the same thing - but Jesus actually makes the task at hand a little more challenging and broad.

particular I did. The sermon became into approximately what the pastor referred to as "the provision ingredient". He equipped the sermon around the story of David and Goliath in a million Samuel 17. He talked approximately the 4 styles of human beings in terms of how the answer to extensive issues: Cowards (they run away...particularly lots the whole military of Israel), Critics (element out why different's innovations won't paintings...David's brother), Counterfeits (unwilling to apply the presents they could sparkling up the subject...Saul), and brave (face the subject...David). He then gave us 3 assistance for coping with likely insurmountable issues: (a million) exchange "somebody help" to "i visit", (2) exchange "i can not" to "God can" and alter "God ought to" to "God will". It became right into a sturdy message.

I went to church today and they talked about disipleship, about becoming a follower of Jesus. IT was kind of repetetive but good none the less if youre Christian. I am one but am going to convert to Islam so the glorifying of Jesus as a God kind of bugs me now.

Ours was about envy (yup one of the seven deadlies)
Our pastor used James 3:14-16 to describe the seriousness of it. and others like Romans 12:8 to over come it.
Rejoice when others rejoice.
So when other's grass is greener, when they get the raise etc. then we are to be happy for them, and grateful to God for His blessings on us.

This is funny, I asked almost the exact question earlier.
