I'm from the Midwest and people drink iced tea. It's usually not sweetened as much as in the south.

No I dont think ice tea is a southern thing . I think sweet tea is a southern tea though. Its hard to get unsweetened in the south. I get looked at like I have a third eye or something for ordering it that way.

Perhaps. I know northerners who drink ice tea and you can get ice tea at most restaurants, but the big difference is whether it's sweet or not. Southerners definitely are more into sweet ice tea. You can't really find sweet ice tea at most restaurants in the north or west.

I think it is mostly. I'm from the Mid-South and I know I can't live without my iced tea, but I have gotten it at plenty of places up North as well. I like it with lemon and sweetened with a little Splenda. Yummy!

I live in the pacific Northwest and you can get ice tea up here in just about every restaurant. But I think most people order pop.
