Your young, don't let it bother you. I didn;t come out of my shell until I was 16, now I'll talk to and ask any girl out.

Go out with one of the girls that asked you out, just to get some experience hanging out with girls on more than a friendship level.

When you have one girl, the rest will like you even more. Also, realizing that girls like you will build your confidence and you will be unstoppable. You've already got girls asking you out, most guys don;t get that, so you must be a catch.

Smile a lot, and look girls in the eye. Try not to stutter and talk a little louder than you normally do. This shows confidence.

Another trick I used to do to build my confidence, is to flirt with every girl (at school, at the store, anyplace that you talk with people). You will see its not hard and then it gets easier with experience and soon enough you can flirt with the most beautiful girls.

I say don't put a lot of pressure on yourself. If your not ready to date or go out then just be yourself and build your good qualities. Enjoy your youth!!!
Most people at your age are seeking approval from their peers. Just be yourself and find a good hobby that you can share with other people, like playing a musical instrument. This will become a part of your life and also reflect good on the people you associate with. It can get very stressful to try to fit in so don't do things that your not comfortable with.
Life is a long journey of learning and we all develop at different pace. Build a few relationships with quality people and be happy with yourself.
My guess is that you have someone in mind already, don't waste your time thinking about it. Tell them whats on your mind and see what happens. Don't try pickup lines... just talk to them with respect and listen!! Think of a tennis match, the object is to keep the ball going. Then you will get to know the person and become friends.
God Bless!

I think the best way to overcome your shyness is by being friends with girls you might already know. Pretend like she is one of the guys. After you are use to having girls as friends you would have built enough confidence to speak to girls you might like. After which you can invite them go hang out sometime and through time tell her that you would like to be more than just friends(NOTE: Always prepare yourself for rejection). If she says yes then great! But if she says she has a boyfriend or is not interested then move on. Good luck!

Are you a ninth grader or eighth grader? And you have never asked a girl out. My goodness you are an old man and not been out. Seriously, what is the rush? I expect nine out of ten guys in your age bracket have not asked a girl out. Relax young man and let it come. It will follow in good time. I would beware of girls asking someone as young as you out. It is said that girls mature faster than boys, and I believe it. This is probably not what you wanted to hear but I think it is wisest. Good Luck, all in good time
