The Bora is the european brother or sister, of the Jetta. Same car, just named differently in the states. The Passat, is larger than the Jetta, and you can also get it in AWD, or 4motion as VW calls it.

I'm not sure about a Bora, but the Passat is a little more roomy than the Jetta. The Jetta is more of a young professional's car while the Passat is more of a family car (but that's just my interpretation). We own a Passat wagon and it's great for getting around with the baby or taking the dog out on a family adventure. I think Jetta is coming out with new diesels either this year or next year that are supposed to be great.

The Bora and Jetta are the same model just European/American names, the Bora/Jetta comes in 3 models, standard with a 1.8 engine, then a 2.0 engine, automatic and rims, and finally a 2.2 engine, with leather seats and synchronized transmission. Very cool. They are quite sporty. Passat is more of a family car, longer and very comfortable.
