Most people look at interracial couples funny, and I know the couples realize it. The world will be screwed up in years to come if we keep mixing races. There will be no pure race, just mixed ones. Most people stick with their race, but a minority decides to go with another race.

There is no such thing as race because race is something that people use to define you and you should be the one to define yourself. But, every person of every "race" is mixed because mixing has been occurring for centuries. So, if mixing has been occurring for years, doesn't it make the world screwed up already because i think we're doing just fine

what do you mean by "the world will be screwed up in years to come..."? i think that you might be prejudiced (sorry if I'm wrong, it's just the impression I'm getting from your question) and you are against people who date interracially. Personally, I dont see a problem with it and think that people should date whomever they wish to and if they are of a different race then so be it. Race doesn't have anything to with whether someone is a good person or not, its just their heritage. Honestly, I think that mixing races is a good thing and is going to happen naturally in the years to come, whether people want it to or not.

Why shouldn't we mix races? We aren't dogs, and there's no such thing as a pure human, one way or the other. If you think about it for more then a minute, everyone had to come from the same species from the same place, because we're all human. And just because we're of a different race isn't like we're of a different species- does someone from Asia think completely differently then someone from South America? No...

I think people get into interracial relationships because they see a human being who they are attracted to and also have common interests.
These open-minded individuals are not bound by race.
BTW - there is no such thing as a "pure" race!

Well, I live in the Bay Area (California)... a very diverse enviroment, so interracial couples are actually pretty common here.
As for why people get involve in interracial relationships, it's because people are different. Some people want to stick to their own race because it's safer, while others choose to date outside their race because it diversifies their love life-- they get to learn about other cultures.

I can't answer for other people but I do agree that the races are becoming less and less pure. We were all made differently for a reason...not necessarily to mix. Each race has their own uniqueness and blending tends to blur that.
