i think you should ask her to hang out with you, dont imdediatly ask her out or anything. just ask her to the movies or somethen a few times, and if she really seems to enjoy it, and it seems like she might like you, ask her out. the worst that could happen is she would say no.

First of all, when someone says they are not looking for a relationship (boyfriend) it just means they haven;t found the right one.

Its sounds like you two get along pretty well, so I would say to go for it. Ask her to hang out casually. Tell her you want her help picking out some clothes and go shopping at the mall, girls can't turn that down, especially at 16.

If it goes well, don't hound her but play it cool for a few days and see if she calls. If she doesn't, call her about 3-4 days later and start talking to her on the phone.

It's actually pretty simple, guys are the jerks, and girls are just down right retarded. It's the same crap all the time man, no matter how old you get. Bi*tches, I mean chicks, want a guy who don't get to attached to the girl, and chicks like a challenge, where as the guys play hard to get. Just think of it this way, if us guys went up to a "nice girl" and suddenly shes really all into you, calling you every chance they get, wanna hang out every second they have, what would happen? well, for one thing the guy will think shes some kind of psycho, and chances are, we move on to a girl we want but probably can't have. Well, it's the same with girls. It's in our human nature, we all want something or someone we can't have, am I right? damn straight. end of this debate, NEXT.

Alright. the first thing is to accept the possibility that she is not interested. It's not the end of the world, believe me.
The second thing is to start small. Just tell her when you are planning to be at starbucks and invite her to "just hang out". I put those words in quotes because it's important that this not be a date.
Thirdly, just make some small physical contact when you're at coffee, (hand on the back, hand over hand, the usuals...) supplemented by eye contact.
lastly, enjoy your youth group meeting. maybe grab a number later. maybe she'd fancy a rugby game or c0ck-fighting match.
(btw, don't let starbucks take over england too)

you should:
Everytime u see her, give a nice smile (not a freaky one) and nod.
Dress nice and do ur hair nice too.
Compliment her ("you look nice today", "ur hair looks nice today) just dont say anything creepy. girls are very self centered.
Dont act nervous around her
Ask her to go eat after your meetings
If she says no, just be cool about it and say "well if u ever wanna go out to eat, i'll be here" if u want, pay for it
If she says yes, talk about her, again, girls are very conceited and self centered.
If u have something to do (ie. get something to eat, go to the library, buy supplies for school) ask her to come with you. (she doesnt have to eat too so tell her that so she wont feel awkward).
do things to show her that ur a nice, one of a kind guy.

Then she'll start to wonder about u, and hen, hopefully like u.
Show her u care about her like getting something for her on her birthday, or christmas. just dont get her roses so she wont feel embarrassed if every one is around.(she is still a teenager)
You can even invite her to a party or a gathering.
If she likes u she'll show it by smiling everytime she sees u, or turn red and feel nervous, shy.
Be cool about it, and when the time is right, ask her to be ur girlfriend.
Try saying " i was wondering, if u feel the same way, that u would like to date me officially?"
Just go with the flow. u seem like a nice guy.
Good Luck!!!!

You could invite her on a group date, so she won't feel awkward if things don't go well and neither will you.
And if things to go fine, you could go on a single date and from there...
^_^ Good luck!

I think you guys should learn more about each other and then if you really like her don't be afraid to ask her out.
