Having a tattoo on my ankle. Will it hurt ? Bad with pain

I have a tattoo right above my ankle bone. It feels like some one is scraping your skin with a needle.

Yes it will hurt. You are getting the tatoo done in an uncomfortable place - Your ankle... The needle over the bone will be VERY painful... so it is best if you do bring a friend to squeeze her hand. Hopefully, You will slide into a slight lull and not feel it so much after a while after your body starts to acclimate to the pain and endorfins kick in. Basicly.. the more fatty the area, the less it will hurt. :) Your Butt, for instance, Doesn't hurt that much. :) But you spine... neck.. ankle... elbow.. Ect... It's rather painful. :)

I have a tattoo on my ankle. I had it done 3 years ago now and sure there is some pain, but its not all that bad. I would imagine they would allow you to bring a friend in with you. Don't drink alcohol before going as they might not do it for you then, as alcohol thins the blood and you could bleed easier. Theres not alot of bleeding involved, but remember they are sticking a needle in you. Make sure the tattooist is well known and please make sure you see him take out a new needle.

Ever scrape our skin with a pin or needle? That's what it feels like, only a million times in a row. After it's done it feels like a skinned knee. It heals at the same rate as a skinned knee too.

I think it hurts more when there is more muscle than when it is close to more bone because it may take a little longer for the muscle to numb and of course by all means take a friend but make sure it is strong friend because your strength is going to be incredible

hmm hate pain ,hate needles have you thought of getting a henna tatoo?they are painless and temporary. just a thought.

yeah u can bring ur friend. i went with one of my friends to get it done. she said its REALLY un comfortable but the closer to the bone u get the worse the pain gets! good luck!
