There are many reasons why you may be having problems. It could be possible you are not on enough thyroid medication or that you are on the wrong thyroid medication. The first thing you need to do is get your morning TSH around 1.0. If after doing this you still experience symptoms, then its time to try a medication like Armour thyroid. Armour thyroid is adjusted by the free t4v and free t3 blood tests. I will post some links below

I have hypothyroidism. I haven't had my thyroid removed, it is just not working right.

I don't care what any doctor says. I know what I know.

THYROID MEDS DON'T FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS.

Think about it. When someone gets hyperthyroidism they lose weight fast. I have seen a couple people I know go to skin and bones.

So why if you take too much thyroid meds does the same thing not happen? Why is it clinically documented that thyroid meds are not effective for weight loss??? Why aren't fat people trying to steal thyroid meds to lose weight??

CAUSE THE STUFF DOES NOT WORK !!!!

I don't know how long we are going to have to wait for them to develop a better medication. Some people say Armour is better because it is natural pig thyroid. I asked my dr about it and he didnt even seem to have any idea what I was talking about.

There are not enough endocrynologists out there and there is not enough research going into auto-immune disorders.

And It is very very frustrating.
