It's going to be extremely difficult finding a 1980 car with 120,000 miles on it..

Unfortunately there is not set answer to the money question. Since it's an old car you're going to find them in different conditions and different mileage. Some junkers, some rebuilt, and some fixed up. The price will vary among all these conditions.

$2500 for a nicely kept one, give or take.

Look at this one! http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=25&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7CE-ALL%7CM-_65_%7CH-%7CD-_2956_%7CN-N%7CR-10000%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CY-_1980_%7CX-antique%7CZ-33165&aff=national&paId=220490550&recnum=0&leadExists=true

They are EXTREMELY nice automobiles if you can find one. That's from back in the days when cars had some personality to them. Nowadays everything looks the same. they're all egg-shaped and the only thing that differs is the shape of the headlights and tail lights.

Good Luck! I wish I could get one too!!

Rob, that's a 280ZX, not a 240SX.

Shaq, the 240SX was first built in 1987.

As for your answer, anywhere from $100 for total junk to $2500 for a nice one in great shape. Hope this helps.

240SX debuted in 1989..... they're worth around $600-$1200 depending on condition.

I'd say anywhere between $500 and $2000 depending on condition, options, and how badly the buyer wants it.
