How can we help?

Question

I don't really care about saving the poor people, but I do anyway because I know I would want people to help me. We have poor people, duh, but were doing this to ourselves! But one thing I'm against is animal cruelty, abuse, and testing. I donate money to shelters and plan on adopting many pets when my mom and I move from her friends house. But what else can I do? I can't believe you just said that poor poeple do that to themselves ---- you are generalizing WAY TOO MUCH. Many people have 2 jobs and are still below the poverty line...do u not see that?...they're not lazy!! I know i'm not cause i've been getting up at 5 and going to sleep at 12am for the past 8 years and I'm only 16- WHY? cause we help eachother get through life...even with the little amount of money we have....parents work hard and pay for house, food, etc....and the kids (like me) will study their butts off to get somewhere...just cause we had the disadvantage of being born poor...but. I do agree on adopting animals...anyway...there are some people that are poor but that's cause their lazy...so next time watch your words please- you cannot compare everybody.

you can help people right here in yahoo answer by answering to people who are in need of good advice and searching for an answer to a dilemna. Your good work with the animals is very commandable and I admire you for that because a lot of animals are misstreated, abused, etc... Just read the questions from people who are worried and upset about their cat or dog, etc... You can help them by writing a message of understanding and compassion to them. I do that too because I love animals and it is a way of helping too.

Thanks for your your compassion for the animals. However save a bit too for the poor people. Please do not be offended by this. It is just a suggestion not a judgement.

those types would give some "Communities whom are greatful

http://www.helping.thehomeless.shelters.org we'd know each
one can join towards our Group of Volunteers showing how many
ways this would work every day " yes you'd have great ideas

Try adopting pets yourself. I'm from Philly too I know a/b the prblems there so............adopt one. and/or have other people adopt them.
