I apologise for having to say this but IT IS NOT GOOD. It's a way of patronising a kind gesture coming from a man she is not interested in. I say this as a woman. I assume you ask because you like her - correct me if i am wrong. Body lauguage is also a key here. Is she smiles with her mouth but not her eyes, you might be better of making romantic gestures to people who feel the same way.

Normally, it indicates you're nice as a friend, but not necessarily romantic or sexual material.
