One poster said that we take the risk of losing a lot of members. But the churches that are "open and affirming" are the churches losing the most members while Conservative type churches are growing. In fact, pentecostalism is the fastest growing religion.

The Bible is pretty clear about the evils of homosexuality. I think that if a church accepts homosexuality then they are not following God instructions and they will be held accountable. Homosexuality is unnatural, immoral, unbiblical, perverse, disgusting, and just plain wrong. Any Christian that accepts homosexuality as a healthy, natural lifestyle needs to reevaluate their relationship with God.

I do not believe a homosexual lifestyle should be endorsed by the Church. I believe this is clearly spoken against in the Old and New Testaments. I do believe that a person openly practicing this should be allowed acceptance to worship in a local church but not allowed membership.
I believe that homosexuality has become an exaggerated topic. This sin should not be regarded worse than lying or gossiping....both very destructive practices. (These sins should be dealt with also within a church body).
I believe that condoning various sin in the Church resembles the practices of the Laodicean church in the Book of Revelation. The church had become "lukewarm". Because of this, Christ will spit them out of His mouth. I believe He was speaking of the Church in the latter days and their "anything goes" attitude.
I attend a Baptist Church but regard myself as non-denominational.

It seems clear to me that no group is empowered to change the word of the Alomighty, and His word seems clear to me on that subject. Of course if a group is not pretending to follow Scripture, they can make any rules they want. However in that case they would be following a strange "god". Most are anyway. The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

im probably not what you would consider a christian, but im going to answer anyway. its none of there business. i guess it all depends on your definition of freedom. alot of good people lost their lives for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. this is the reason for the separation of church and state. the only things churches should endorse is the love of god, and the love of your fellow man. if they did more of that than meddling in peoples private affairs, they actually might get somewhere.

As a Christian Preacher, writer and Evangelist I say there is no way the Church can condone what God considers to be sin.
I assure you the Church, the true body of Christ does not.
Non-Denominational.

Hmmm... a Christian Church with people who actually try and treat people the way Jesus would - with love and compassion - how dare they? (You who are without sin cast the first stone). I think it is a wonderful thing! I am an Episcopalian.

No more than they endorse heterosexual behavior.
I think people are flocking to the closed minded churches because they affirm closed mindedness.
