I was at the store the other day with a friend and our kids when we ran into this man my friend and her husband hang out with. I know this guy, but don't hang out with him or anything. When I had stepped away he took my friend aside and told her that my daughter is going to "be hot" in a few years. My friend didn't think it was a big deal, but I thought it was creepy and if I had heard I think I would have gotten mad and said something to the man. My daughter is only 7 years old, and people will tell me she's adorable or pretty, but I've never had anyone say that she's going to be hot. Was this wrong of that man to say or am I overreacting?

I'm a very liberal person but this was totally inappropriate! Who else but a perv would look at a 7 year old little girl and foresee hotness? Just to be safe, don't let your child anywhere near this man!

That's seriously disturbing, creepy and inappropriate. You are NOT overreacting at all. Keep an eye on that person. It's hard to believe sometimes, but there are a lot of pedophiles and sexual deviants in this world. BE CAREFUL.

I personally think that is disgusting and inappropriate . I think that if you were there you should have spoke your mind. Your friend( not judging her) obviously does not understand the difference between complement and creepy. She should have said something..... and I think that is immature on her part for her not to say anything. You should overreact. That is your child.

Yes, it is quite inappropriate for a grown man to look at a seven-year-old in a sexual way. I'd keep your daughter well away from him.

Saying she is cute or pretty is WAY different then saying that she is "going to be hot in a few years". Your friend should of smacked him right then and there. That is wrong!

That makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Yes, I am definitely creeped out by what he said. Keep her away from him...do not allow him to visit your house when she is there EVER.

NOT AT ALL YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE ANGRY AND I THINK IF YOU WERE TO EVER SEE HIM AGAIN I WOULD LET HIM KNOW THAT I AM THE MOTHER OF 4 GIRLS AND I KNOW I WOULD OF ASKED MY FRIEND FOR THE NUMBER OF THE GUY AND CALLED HIM AND TOLD HIM WHAT I THOUGHT JUST MAKE SURE YOUR DAUGHTER IS NEVER NEAR HIM AGAIN
