I'm sure they were always called minstrels (I'm 32 and remember them being called that way back when i was a child)I also remember though that you could also get galaxy counters which had a parrot/bird thing on the front of the packet.They were just really like chocolate buttons but made of galaxy rather than cadburies.Also Treets only came in peanut and toffee.I remember my sweeties well i do :o)

They were always minstrels. Treets were different altogether but like minstrels they melted in your mouth and not in your hand.

i dont think they had a name before that, i think they were called minstrels from the start, but they are now called "Galaxy minstrels"
