I think it has to do with how much contact you've had with the guy before the first date...was this an unrequited love kind of thing where you both finally got together and the first nighter was just the release of a lot of pent up sexual frustration from a long period of courting each other with your eyes or compliments or was it the first time you two have been alone together?
If it's a woman I barely know then although I'll do my best to sleep with her as soon as possible, I think a lot less of her if she sleeps with me quickly. I'm not saying this is right, it isn't, but it's just the truth. Guys are turned off by girls they can dig on the first date.

Well now - the answer might change if this is a friend that you have been around for a long time. Sometimes it's almost like you have been dating for years 'cause you have been friends for a long time.

Absolutely not!!! The only thing that will happen is he'll tell all his friends that you slept with him and they will all think that u're "easy". You don't want that. Guys will end up going out with you just so that they'll get sex out of it. Don't do it.
