You need to get the install kit, it has the wiring harness adapter, and the mounting bracket. Take off the HVAC and Radio panel from the front, then remove the two screws holding in the existing radio, remove it. Take your new wiring harness from the kit and solder connect the wires from the new stereo to the harness making sure that you match the correct wires up. Then plug in the harness to the factory harness, install the new radio, and you are in business.

VERY EASY!!! Simply pull the bezel around the stock audio unit to remove. There are no fasteners. Once removed, there are two 3/8" or 10mm self tapping screws that secure the stock audio unit to the instrument panel.

It's very easy. My friend puts a new one in his '95 Neon every time someone breaks in and steals the old one.

It's also VERRRRRRRY easy to break into Neons.

No, but with places like circuit city and best buy, that do the install for free, why would you want to go threw the hassle?
