Take a look at the musicals "Wicked", "Sideshow", and "Chess"...all three have great female duets. Also, the album "Duets" by Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley. good luck!

"Take me or leave me" from Rent is a passonate duet where you can do some acting while you are singing (It's really fun!!!).

You can do several of the songs in Wicked.

There is a musical called City of Angels and a fun song titled "What you don't know about women" (another good choice).

Sondhime is a good choice as well, You could do something from Company or Into the Woods (from into the woods "A Very Nice Prince") .
Also, a possibility is "T& A" (if you are in college or an adult talentshow) from A Chorus Line.
Phantom of the Opera has a good duet in Angel of music.

You could also do something from Chicago -"My Own Best Friend" or "Class"

"I Know Him So Well" from Chess

"Marry the Man Today" from Guys and Dolls is another fun duet!!!

"U.N.C.O.U.P.L.E.D." "Crazy", and "A Lotta Locomotion" (there are 2 or more women in these songs but most of them can be edited to be 2 people. They are fun to sing and cute!!) from Starlight Express.

And that's about all I can come up with for now. I hope this helps. Good Luck and Good Singing and Take Wings!!!!

Show tunes are a good bet, perhaps from plays/musicals like Chicago, Annie Get Your Gun, Evita, Dreamgirls, and the Wizard of Oz.

Remember, you can always take a song from a solo artist and make it a duet, if you want. If you choose to do that, I'd go with a popular female artist, like Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Mariah Carey (if you're daring!), JoJo, or Paula DeAnda.

If your singers have a lower vocal range, you might consider songs by male artists.

Hope this helps & good luck!

Cheers! :)

I think it would depend on what type of music you want to perform. I think "In His Eyes" from Jekyll and Hyde is a nice duet song.

I would have to recommend anything by tatu. They're a russian girl group (if you didn't already know), and they have some pretty awesome songs. I would suggest looking them up.

I remember this from the "I love Lucy" show. "Friendship" from the old Cole Porter musical, "Anything Goes!"
