It is a real challenge when they don't think "racism" or "hate crimes" apply to them!

Hmm that is a difficult question, I dont quite get why another black man would call a fellow black man the "N" word anyhow. Any racism is bad no matter who is doing the calling....but let it go, its not worth getting in a state over.

You can and should remind that individual that it's a racist remark, no matter from whose lips it may come. It's falling out of favour in the US even among blacks.

You can sue most anyone for anything. Results may not be worth it, though.
