Maybe it has something to do with morals that are being taught?

Well, my wife teaches at a Christian school and I teach at a public school and I am not sure I am completely in agreement with you.
It would be nice to pray and teach the Bible but you leave out a few factors.
The kids that go to Christian schools have more money, more stable home lives and a smaller school environment than public schools. However, the Christian schools have the problems you mentioned also - and they are in a more "controlled", more conducive educational environment. Some of those factors would help education if it were Christian or not - don't get me wrong I think kids need to know God but the environment is a major factor apart from religion. I know many "Christian" school kids who know about God but don't know God at all, right? While many public school kids do - you tell me what really matters.
PLENTY of my public school students are good Christian kids in tough family lives and commmunity conditions and are living out there faith in the darkness, It is awesome.
Not everyone can afford $500 per month - the primary Christian education is to come from home anyway -right?

I went to a small town public school before they took the Bible out of schools and over 10% of the girls in my class got pregnant before graduation, and there was a lot of fighting, drinking and one shooting. Schools teaching Christianity when it is not taught at home does no good and if it is taught at home isn't necessary.
Private schools including religious ones have students whose parents care enough about education to pay. Therefore they would also be likely to make sure their children attend regularly, do their home work , etc.
Private school can and do get rid of students that are a problem. In public schools only a small minority of the students cause most of the trouble.
I don't think the pregnancy rate is that different if you adjust for social economic factors. Do teens from christian homes get pregnant more often if they attend public school?

lets see, because the public shcools do not have the luxury of kicking out anyone that that is undesirable, where as a private christian school gets to pick and choose their students.
furthermore thay are kids of wealthier people that are not as subject to the drugs and violence that most of the middle class lives with on a daily basis. when a christian school begins to accept everybody no matter their economoc or racial background and relies on donations instead of tuition then you can make this claim. untill then it is the same as asking why YALE students are more successful than high school graduates.

You are correct. Public education has really gone down the toilet since I was a kid. I remember when my daughter started high school, that the schools were teaching stuff I learned in 5th and 6th grade. The only thing public schools seem to care about now a days are the state tests that every student needs to pass. The majority of kids graduating high school have not been taught the things they really need to know, where private and Christian schools teach them not only what they need to know to succeed in life but they also are teaching them about God, our Lord and Savior. I say put the bible back into public schools, make it so everyone has to speak English, and concentrate on educating our kids instead of passing a test so that they get more money, because they are not educating with the money they receive now.

That is by no means, true.Christian schools face the same problems as public schools.Teaching the bible in school guarantees neither a quality education nor clean students.

They don't. I have friends who went to a christian school where classes were taught by adults who didn't even have bachelor's degrees, let alone quality education. And one of them had to transfer out because he offended one clique and they started beating him up and threatening to kill him.
My husband went to private christian school and he won't even talk about it, just says it was one of the worst experiences of his life. He won't even consider sending our daughter to a private school if it is religious.
Finally, not everyone can afford to send their child to a private school. Those places are expensive, and you can be sure they don't let anyone in for free.

Parents who send their children to Christian schools can demand accountability from the school regarding the quality of education and morality. No such rights exist for parents of public school children.

Based on this question, and some of your answers. I have to say that you are truly one of the most misinformed people on YA. You also happen to be ridiculously opinionated, which is a bad combination.
Seeing that rkirby has already shot you down, I'll leave it at that.

they don't.
i went to a christian shool for a while.
not only did it shatter my once existing faith in god,
it made me hate god and the entire concept of god.
worst place you could send any kids.
plus, catholic school girls are waayy crazier. they're kept inside all the time. so when they get out, they don't know when to stop.
they do get drunk
they do get pregnant
they do get violent
and they do drugs.
not all of them, but not all public school kids, either.
public school kids tend to be far more socially responsible
though i won't say they all are
that would be generalizing.
that would be stupid.
i say you're wrong.
and i've been to both.
