durock, an exterior finish system. It has been around in the commercial industry for some time, but now the company is offering more textures and products for residential use.

Dura Rock - used for bathroom walls instead of sheet rock and also where moisture may be a problem. It tiles over well too. I have not seen any 4 x 8 sheets although they may exist. I have seen it and used it in 4 x 4 sheets many times. Most home centers carry it. It is gray and looks like someone sandwiched cement between sheets of plastic fly screen.

Duroc it is for use under ceramic tile home depot or lowe's
