You are kidding, right? It is pretty simple. You either are guilty of the parking offence, or there was an error. You convince the authorities of the error, or you pay the ticket, like a responsible member of society.

Send ticket off with repair receipt, that is if you can get hold of receipt saying that the vechile had broken down, worked for me

You need to pay up coz if you dont you will get a criminal record putting you into the same league as a Murderer!!
pay up, if aint worth the hassle.......
However, you might wanna consider emmigrating to a far far country!!
