Both, unless it was rape or the couple were in a committed relationship and the woman said she was on birth control but wasn't. That's the only time it's not both people's fault.

It takes 2 to make a baby. If the baby is not wanted it is both your fault. Both people choose not to use protection. The only way it can be one or the other's fault is in a rape issue.
I don't even believe that you can use that the woman lied about being on the pill as it being the woman's fault. The guy choose to believe her and didn't realize that the pill isn't 100% effective. I have also heard of guys going around saying that they had a vascetomy. When of course they hadn't and the girl got pregnant. You should always use a condom with the threat of a STD anyway.

It takes two to tango, so the saying goes. Both are equally responsible for the pregnancy. Both should have used protection, both will be financially responsible.

something like this can be blamed on either one because common sense should tell both that having unprotected sex is both the female and the male responsibility

no longer all persons see in Black and White, many nevertheless see in shade. The blame is on lack of expertise's effect on someone's aesthetics, they grow to be blind to issues and would possibly no longer see the actual elegance in many stuff,, or maybe all issues! it relatively is lack of expertise that brought about the lack of ability of aesthetics!
