Your computer has a drive that spins a thousands of times per minute. If a disc is scratched it won't hurt the drive to try and read it. If the disc is cracked, warped or has tearing of the label then don't ever use it. A shattered disc will destroy a drive and possibly injur a user. ** Scratched discs can easily be repaired (depending on the depth of the scratch) by using disc scratch fluid. The fluid fills the scratched area and allows the laser to read the disc again.

No..it will not hurt your computer at all. I've put several scratched music CDs in my computer, and nothing bad has ever happened.

computers don't have emotions so no longer something you could do properly damage them. you could damage a computing gadget, both by setting up a nasty disk. each now and then a computing gadget might want to no longer installation this technique properly if the disc isn't operating, yet this shouldn't take position.

No. Your cd-rom drive will be fine. No guarantee that the cd will be readable though.
