[2:186] When my servants ask thee concerning me, i am indeed close (to them): i listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on me: let them also, with a will, listen to my call, and believe in me: that they may walk in the right way.
[57:4]And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And God sees well all that ye do.
[50:16] It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.
[27:62] Or, who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides God? Little it is that ye heed!
[58:7] There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, nor between five but He makes the sixth, nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: in the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For God has full knowledge of all things.
[9:40] If ye help not (your Leader), (it is no matter): for God did indeed help him, when the unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion: they tow were in the Cave, and he said to his companion, have no fear, for God is with us: then God sent down his peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the unbelievers. but the word of God is exalted to the heights: for God is exalted in might, wise

Muslims believe that God sent different messengers throughout the history of mankind. All came with the same message and the same teachings. It was the people who misunderstood and misinterpreted them.
Muslims believe in Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ismail, Jacob, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad. The Prophets of Christianity and Judaism are indeed the Prophets of Islam.
Muslims believe in the One, Unique, Incomparable, Merciful God--the Sole Creator, Sustainer and Cherisher of the Universe; in the Angels created by Him; in the Prophets through whom His revelations were brought to humankind; in the Day of Judgment and in individual accountability for actions; in God's complete authority over destiny, be it good or bad; and in life after death.

I am writing some blogs about this subject. Muslims believe in God of the Bible, they call Him Allah. But they do not believe that Jesus is God.

good question. God get involve in the world but without making it too noticeable, He wants to seem like Humans deal with Humans.
regardin battles, God give his victory to whoever he wish (dosen't matter which side is it):
Quran 3:126
[126] .... And there is no victory except from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
however, there are those with exception that God will stand with them in a war:
------------------------------------------------
1) the true believers
Quran 30:47
[47]... and (as for) the believers, it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).
2) those believers who were tested and were patient, God will support them with Angels to fight with them:
Quran 3:125
[125] "Yes, if you hold on to patience and piety, and the enemy comes rushing at you; your Lord will help you with five thousand angels having marks (of distinction)."

The Christian God and the Muslim god (Allah) are not the same. Read up on Mohammed. He canned 359 of the pagan gods of the Muslims and kept only the moon god. Islam is NOT a relgion of peace.

You worship the same god... Christians and Muslims have the same god. Islam is one of the three abrahamic religions. Abraham was the first to present the idea of one god... Therefore they do worship the same god....

All praise is due to you Allah, lord of the worlds, the beneficient, the merciful, master of the day of judgement.
Thee alone we worship and to thee alone we turn for help.
Guide us in the straight path, the path of those who you have favoured and not who deserve thy anger or went astray
