If God is really calling you to the religious life, then great.

If He's not, well, that's okay too. Not everyone has to be a priest or a nun -- in fact, if we all became priests or nuns, the human race would become extinct!

I think it's great when a woman becomes a nun -- so long as it's God's idea for her to become a nun, and not her idea. If you know what I mean.

Luckily for you there are many religious communities you can choose from. Because nuns serve God by dedicating their life to works of charity or a life of contemplation, or a mixture of both, you will need to decide which will serve your spiritual goals best.
You can check out the Internet under 'vocations' in your country.
By the way if you are a Protestant, you can still join a religious community, see under Anglican Vocations.

Why would you want to?

Do you have any idea what nuns give up for no reason?
