Because it feels so goooooood. It's all carnal baby! A rush of hedonistic pleasure every single time I give in to it.

Why, because it IS evidence, logical and reasonable...why do people of faith accept blind faith in their particular doctrine?

Belief in God IS a matter of faith. Without faith their can be no belief, religion would fade away and die.

There is NO acceptable answer to the question 'is there a God, is he real?' If there was everyone would accept it, based on the evidence, the locic and sound reason (and the fear of eternal damnation). What there is is a huge number of people who accept that what is said in the holy books of their religion is genuine and reflects the true will of their particular God.

There is no 'evidence' to support this, only the (blind) faith of the followers.

For an example, many followers of the faith called 'Jehova's witnesses' offer, what seem to be well-reasoned arguments 'supporting' creeds such as 'evolution'. Then to dismiss them with words like, 'But we know this can't be true because the Bible says....'

This is 'blind faith' to the Nth. degree. To quote from a series of books that were put together many hundreds of years after the lifetime of Christ and claim that they are all the 'actual words of God' surely requires a very strong faith.

Is this justified, well, I'm sure neither I nor anyone else 'knows' we either believe or not as the cause takes us.

Not much of an answer, I'm afraid, but maybe there's something here to make you think?

Cheers,

Accepting something based on evidence, logic and reason is the opposite of accepting something blindly. Your question is, therefore, totally inane and reflective of the humble mental attributes that your ilk has a richly deserved reputation for.

Considering evidence, logic, and reason is not blindly accepting anything. To accept a theory as fact without any real evidence is called faith.

Ok, how are you blindly accepting if there is evidence? This makes no sense.

Darwin borrowed from the pagan religions. Evolution is not new at all. Evolution as a religion is now taught in the public schools.

And if a man shall then ask of Him, "God, why do fossils, genetic material and common sense tell me I am simply a lowly animal like the rest of Your creatures?" He shall answer, "That's what you get for believing in a bedtime story."
(Matthew 13:3)

believe in evolution! Thou must believe in logic and reason
or thy will surely burn in the lake of fire!"
