In thje Old Testament, what did the Ark contain? 1) The Word of God in stone tablets 2) The Manna; bread from God 3) Aarons rod, symbol of the High Priesthood In the New Testament, what did the Blessed Virgin carry within her? 1) The Word of God made flesh 2) The Manna which came from heaven (John 6) 3) The True High Priest This is why we call Mary the "Ark of the New Covenant", and this is based on an interpretive principal called "Typology". Learn how to read the Old Testament in a typological manner, and you will learn how to interpret the Scriptures as the first Christains did, and you will how all of Catholic theology is based on the interpretive principals used by the apostles.

It's not likely that anyone will find the Ark.

Most likely, it was taken by the Romans when they destroyed the Jerusalem temple. Typically, they would melt down the gold of such "trophies" and fashion other objects out of it.

That's probably what happened to the Ark.

read Jeremiah 3:16, it says, "And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saidth the Lord; they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more". There is no more need for the ark of the covenant to be here no that Christ has come and fulfilled the purpose of the ark of the covenant.

Book of Jeremiah states unequivocally the ark will never be found.

Stop searching for God on TV. Or normalcy with Oprah and Ellen Degenerate.

No;according to revelations it`s literally in heaven now.But I could be wrong and that`s only one scripture I could find;on the other hand elijah is supposed to come back and restore ALL things. If this is so then it`s possible that temple would have to be rebuilt and the ark may be still hidden. It`s still a mystery to me.Because theirs no clear scripture that says it was taken up to heaven or what happened to it.

The officials in Jerusalem know exactly where it is! And when they build the 3rd Temple it will be in there. However, all of that doesn't matter anymore because after the Day of Pentecost, God writes His commandments in our hearts and he resides in us with the gift of the Holy Ghost which we know that we have with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. Acts 2:38 is the key that will unlock heavens doors for you!!

It is no longer relevant, Since Jesus's death on the cross the new ark of the Covenant is the Body of Christ......As the Scriptures say; "In him dwells the fulness of the Godhead bodily".

and since the Church IS the body of Christ,,,therefore the full power of God resides in the Church...i.e., in those living for Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

It's in the church in Axum, Ethiopia. It was carried there by a group of Jews who took it from the Temple in about 500 BC (I think) and went south into Egypt, up the Nile, settled for a while on an island in a lake in Ethiopia (can't remember the name), and ended up in Axum.

Personally I think it is hidden so that when the temple is rebuilt the ark will be placed there. Until then I don't think it will show up anywhere.

I read an article that stated that it had been found and is hidden until the new temple is built.
