Just make sure you make the garden soup as a back up. There are no points at all in it, and you can eat it whenever you want, or whenever you are hungry. It is in the little points guide booklet.
It helped me a lot when I was doing wight watchers.
Good Luck.

I have a pumpkin cake recipe that I got while in Weight Watchers that is soooo good. It only takes a box of angel food cake mix (the one where you just add water), 1 (15 oz) can of pumpkin, 1 cup of water and 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice. Stir together and put in a 10 x 13 inch greased pan and bake for 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut in to 12 pieces and it counts 3 points per piece.
I also have a great Vanilla Fruit Salad recipe that makes 10 cups:
32 oz can pineapple chunks in own juice
15 pz peach slices in own juice
15 oz pear slices in own juice
3 whole apples, cut into 1" pieces
2 cups of seedless grapes
1 pkg sugar free, fat free instant vanilla pudding (regular size)
Drain juices from fruit and reserve. Chop peaches and pears into 1" pieces. In bowl combine all fruit, sprinkle with dry pudding. Add small amounts of fruit juice until pudding forms. This is 2 points per 3/4 of a cup serving. Enjoy!!!

If you subscribe to WW on line, and use food tracker and weight tracker on the site, there is a tab and search for food and recipes. There are some great adjusted recipes and they are really good. I like the oven fried chicken, triple berry scones and lots more. Check it out- http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/index.aspx

Yep my sister does weight watchers...here are some of her favorites-
Weight Watchers General Tso's Chicken
3/4 cup canned reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons peanut oil
2 medium scallions, chopped
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, minced or 1 dried chili, minced
1 lb uncooked boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 cups cooked white rice, kept hot
In a medium bowl, whisk together broth, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and ginger; set aside.
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallions, garlic and pepper and cook 2 minutes. Add chicken and cook until browned all over, about 5 minutes.
Add reserved sauce and simmer until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through, about 3 minutes.
Serve chicken and sauce over rice. Yields about 1 cup of chicken and sauce and 1/2 cup of rice per serving.
0 Point Weight Watchers Cabbage Soup
3 cups nonfat beef broth or nonfat vegetable broth or nonfat chicken broth (beef is the best)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup green beans
1/2 cup chopped zucchini
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
salt & pepper
Spray pot with non stick cooking spray saute onions carrots and garlic for 5 minutes.
Add broth, Tomato paste, cabbage, green beans, basil, oregano and Salt & Pepper to taste.
Simmer for a about 5-10 minutes until all vegetables are tender then add the zuccini and simmer for another 5 or so minutes.
And for dessert!- Weight Watchers Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge
1 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup fat-free evaporated milk
2 tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine
12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
14 large marshmallows
Coat an 8x8-inch pan with cooking spray.
Stir together sugar, evaporated milk and margarine. Bring to a boil in sauce pan, reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in chocolate and marshmallows. Remove from heat and stir until smooth.
Pour into pan and refrigerate until firm, about two hours. Cut into 36 squares and serve. (Leave fudge in refrigerator or freezer for a firmer consistency).
this has 2 points per serving.
