I am an expert in this field so please heed my advice:

1) Tomato juice. Slam a glass down.
2) Drink a lot of water all day
3) Get outside and get some fresh air; moving your body gets oxygen thru your system and gets the toxins out. Lack of activity has the opposite effect; it makes the hangover worse, so MOVE!
4) When you can eat, grab a greasy cheeseburger or pizza or something. Don't know why but the grease seems to absorb the alcohol.
5) If you have access to a hot tub or a steam room, try those out. If not, a nice hot shower is mandatory!

Good luck!

Menudo or pozole are traditional Mexican hangover remedies (I can't vouch for them.) Try them with a hit of chile sauce and a lot of water.

In Cabaret, Sally drank "prairie oysters"--raw egg with Worcestershire sauce.

But other than a hair o' the dog (homeopathic remedy) and plenty of water, there isn't much to do. DON'T take acetaminophen (Tylenol, some other brands.) It can be bad for your liver, which is already angry with you. Take an NSAID (aspirin, naproxen sodium--Aleve, or ibuprofen--Advil/Motrin) if you MUST.

Drink plenty of water, and try some orange juice if you can stand it.

Take some milk thistle--it's better if you take it with the alcohol, but better late than never. It's a liver tonic that can help you deal with the toxins generated by the alcohol breaking down.

And settle down next time! Eat with your drinks, drink water with your drinks...and don't drink so much.

Not that it helps you now...but it could help you later.

A really great remedy is a product called "Airborne". It's actually meant for preventing colds, but works great for hangovers, too. You can get it at any department store or drug store in the cold medicine aisle. Dramamine works really great, too, if you are still feeling queasy.

Hi Okhama,

I feel the best hangover solution is to eat bread. Bread helps to absorb the alcohol that is in your system followed by lots of water to replenish your dehydrated body and lots of rest!!

as far as getting over a hangover that you already have, nothing usually works for me so i take to "chaser plus" pills (two with your first drink then two more after your fourth i believe) they've always worked for me. wake up the next day feeling perfectly fine!!!

I've heard you should either "have another drink of whatever it was you were drinking"..(but ppl with hangovers don't even want to consider that)...or drink Tomato juice. Not sure why, but heard that works also*
Drink Lots Of Water as your body is dehydrated from the alcohol, take something for headache and go to bed. (sorry, I don't drink so not sure which one works, but I do know to Drink lots of water)

GOODLUCK WITH THAT~
