Hello, i have had a niggly pain in my ear lobe and happens every few minutes and goes behind the lobeand lasts a few seconds. It has been doing this for 3 days now and am wondering if this has happened to anyone else. It is a bit more uncomfortable now and will go to get it checked tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone else has had it?

Thanks

no i don't wear ear rings. Had them pierced when i was 19 for about a year then i let them close up, that was 14 years ago.

You might have been bitten by a bug or spider. Like you say you are, best to get it checked out (I ain't a doctor)

Good luck

This may sound like a dumb answer,

DO YOU HAVE ANY NECK PROBLEMS?
WHEN my neck was out of alignment, it hurt like HE**!!! lol
I am serious. That would be referred pain from the neck.

also serious about this: - i am not kidding,THE LAST THING EVER THOUGHT- My neice just had surgery for - a tumor- yes they just removed a tumor and built up her ear- it was an aggressive tumor and they say they got it all. If not could have lead to a brain tumor. God forbid this is what is wrong with you, but all she kept on doing was pulling on her ear lobe.

Could simply be an infection, or do u have a tooth ache?

You would be surprised what one pain can lead to, I have had it and - although its not in the ear- you never know.

GO TO THE DR. AND GOOD LUCK

ONE OTHER THOUGHT: how is the hearing? - may have earwax build up. dont be embarrassed

Probably related... Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it
