Don't listen to this person. Although it's true for someone who is not working out that they get plenty of protein, for someone who is trying to build muscle, you really need an excess in order to gain. Also, creatine has been widely studied and stamped by the FDA as safe for consumption. Also, it's found naturally in meats and other foods.

Other supplements to consider are glutamine and arginine. These are aminos that are some of the most abundant in the body and become depleted when lifting. They are great for recovery and absorption of nutrients, among other things.

There are a variety of products out there that have a lot of claims, and I've tried a few of them, but in my opinion probably most of them are worthless and a waste of money. Beyond what you're already taking, there's very little that'll help more than high intensity workouts, proper and adequate diet and smart regimens.

Good luck!

Creatine is a very popular supplement, although its never been scientifically proven to be safe or effective.

A high protein diet won't do it either...contrary to popular belief...most people take in more protein than they really need.

Increases in muscle strength and endurance happen only through exercise...strength training!
