Homosexuality is not a "sin." Believing in a stupid book written by men should be a "sin".

1. Nothing.
2. No one is perfect.
But Christians are called to help each other through sin. We seem to be very good at pointing it out, but as a group we need to work on "helping" as opposed to being seen as "condemning."
Lastly, in terms of the 'homosexual' reference, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Homosexuality is a sin. But it is not THE sin. It falls under the broad category of Sexual Immorality. Therefore, 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone.' I.e., when someone condemns another for homosexuality, that person should be free of much more common sins--adultery and lust--before judging another. He should also be ready to help and not just condemn.

Only God is judge. We are called to love and encourage one another and when a person sins and repents we are called to restore them gently. I will be the first to admit that I have had Prejudices (not about peoples skin color) and have passed judgment on others. Like my friend says Everyone will be responsible for the "song they have sung". You really cant judge a person unless you have walked at LEAST one mile in their shoes. Homosexuality is a sin see Romans 1 but everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I worked with someone who was gay and he was always helpful and kind when I started my job years ago. No one is entitled to play God or be a judge without looking at their own sins first. Like scipture says he who has never sin cast the first stone. I learned a hard lesson in 2003-2004 there is a God and I am NOT him. I hope this helps and thank you for posting

I don't condemn anybody. It's not in my hands to do that. That's the number one misconception about Christians. It's no one else's place to say what is wrong or write with you, but just to be there to support and love you through whatever. Homosexuality may very well be a sin, but who on this earth doesn't partake in something sinful every day. I'm a Christian, but I'm not perfect, never will be. No one is. So if they pull the more holy than though crap, be confident in the fact that what they say is of no significance and that God loves regardless.

The Bible teaches that it is not up to the Christian to judge non-believers. We are to judge believers only.
Judging whether something is sin is a different matter. There are a number of sins that are listed in the Bible. These things we are to avoid. Homosexuality is no more of a sin than lying or gossiping.... sins that are committed by many on a daily basis.
Because a certain sin has now become acceptable in secular society, does not mean that we who do not agree should view these things as acceptable. To us, that would be heresy.

Good question -- let's look at homosexuality.
The proof is in -- homosexuality is just plain bad for us. The rate of incidence of various deadly diseases -- not just AIDS, but a whole list of others -- increases dramatically for those engaged in homosexual conduct.
Our bodies are simply not designed for this type of sex. It's why the average life expectancy of a gay male is only around 41 years old. Chain smokers live longer than that!
That's why God bans homosexuality. He does so because it's dangerous.
If we took an "anything goes" approach to life, we would not be the loving and caring people that we claim to be.
There's nothing loving or caring about saying "okay, whatever" to behavior that hurts, upsets, confuses, and even kills people.
If we take your thinking to its logical extension, then we have no right to judge or condemn murder, rape, pedophilia, theft, or racial discrimination.
I mean, if we're going to judge some sins but not others, where do we draw the line? Who's to say that this sin is worse than that one, under your logic?

God is the one that does the judging. God says the act of homosexuality is a sin so it would be wrong for me not to let homosexuals know that. To also answer a question with a question what gives you the right to judge Christians for sharing their beliefs in what the Bible says?

As a Christian, I do not judge and condemn the sins of others. I don't have to. The word of God judges and condemns those who refuse to follow it's standard. God is the judge, not me. As for homosexuality, the Bible plainly says that it is a sin. If one does not choose to believe that, it is not MY place to judge them...they have already judged and condemned themselves through their own choice. It is no human being's place to judge another...I leave that in the hands of God.

Did you know that The BRIDE will judge the world & even angels, Now concerning you statement about homosexuals, God himself condems it. So the Bible said if we don't know how to judge the little things on earth how can we Judge the spiritual things in the Great Judgement day, & also the Bible says That Judgement must begin at the house of God.

Nothing entitles me to judge, and I don't consider homo stuff because I do not have to overcome this in my life. Why the big deal? It is either a sin or it isn't to the person involved. Either the wage of sin is death or it isn't, but it can't be both. Why would anyone bother to judge someone?

Wow, a liberal with some brains. Most liberals try to convince us there is no god, in the hopes that we start to accept their views. What you have done is use the bible to get Christians to admit that hating homosexuals is a sin. By the way, I am being sincere and not sarcastic.
