my bf calls his girl friends babe and sexy etc and when i told him it bothered me he said i was being silly and jealous.

I think if you ask him not to do that you do have a right. Maybe talk to him and tell him that you trust him but that it bothers you and that you should be his one and only babe.

Do you have a reason to be jealous?? has he ever cheated or done anything to make you think that it is bad?
If not, dont worry about it you know who hes with and just words like babe and sexy don't mean he wants to be with them its just his personality. Most guys if they are cheating or giving you a reason to be jealous or "taking it too far' with these girls would cover there tracks a little bit better so you wouldnt get jealous.
But also...relationships are about compromises and if you guys are in it for the long run you need to tell him how you feel and you BOTH need to make an agreement

There are some guys that just talk this way for whatever reason; maybe they think it's cool or cute.
And maybe you are being a bit jealous, which you need to find out why. Usually it's insecurity. Do you usually feel this way or is it his behavior that is causing the feelings?
But whether he's trying to be cool or if it is because you are being jealous, the reason doesn't r-e-a-l-l-y matter. The fact that it bothers you, should be enough for him to curb his speech, just a bit.

No, you have no right to get mad at another person.
Who do you think you are trying to crush someone else's personality.
As with all things relationship orientated - you vote with your feet.
So, if it bothers you that much then leave, but make sure you have considered how you will feel after you've left... was it really worth it?

babe is a term of endearment that many men say to women in general, no matter who they are...that would not offend me, but if my boyfriend called another woman sexy as a pet name, right in front of me, yes, i'd be pissed off, and I think you have a right to be too. Its not even a jealousy issue; it is common courtesy.

it isnt right for him 2 do that b/c wonder whut he do or say to them while you're not there around him when he is talkin 2 her. U should tell him he needs to quit, or flirt around his guy friends.

i would be mad, but try and talk to some of your guy friends and say sexy and cutie and hotty and things and see how he reacts, show him how your feeling.
