Jesus, as most Jews in his day, read and memorized the Bible from the written text (Old Testament). I think Jesus would also be sympathetic to our weaknesses, knowing that not everyone would be able to memorized the Bible. Having a written copy also allows for people to place Bibles in locations, so that someone who might be thinking about God, but not willing to open up and talk to someone, is able to read the Bible in private.
I think any way to get the word out is the right way to get the word out. Written copies also allow for easier translations. It would be hard to have certain people try to memorize the Bible in another person's language--not to mention that person would almost need to dedicate his or her life to living with those people and teaching its speakers the Word by heart.
Lastly, it is easier to look at the text, read it over and study than it is to try and read through the text in your head. So I think having written Bibles actually promotes more intense study than simply memorizing it. Written Bibles certainly have their advantages, and I don't think Jesus would sacrifice these advantages in favor of strict memorization.

no longer each of the gospels were written by Jews. Luke replaced right into a gentile. The early Christians were no longer pagans who worshipped Jesus. The trinity replaced into no longer made up yet. there have been many pretend messiahs, so the early Christians were no distinct than the different gullible Jew who fell for the pretend messiahs claims. Christians are customarily pagans now, so if a Jew believes Jesus he's likewise a pagan. Jesus has no longer something to do with Judaism, same to Buddha has no longer something to do with Christianity. To trust Jesus is the messiah is to reject G-d because G-d made it sparkling contained in the Tanakh(previous testomony) who the messiah is and what he will do. Jesus did no longer something, infact he dousnt even come close to to setting up the outline of the messiah. It even says contained in the gospel that Jesus broke the sabbath, insulted his mom and allow a lady contact his legs. highly obtrusive he's not the messiah.

Your question is really good . It shows you have an interest in God > He will give the answers to you as you are ready, and right at this time you can only handle little bits of the simplest spiritual food and that is not to say that your in need of any tough old steak.Let's go back aways and restate things .You have read some in the Bible and you have studied some in a book and some in a class. Keep it up and ask for God's grace and guidance. it is freely given..... ' He says so'! After you do that your knowledge and understanding will really begin to grow. Until you do things will still be confusing. Again I say you are right on and keep it up . Incidentally the answers to your questions are directly answered in the Bible and probably some one is going to give them to you today but they won't mean much till you discover them as they are given to you through God's own voice;you will hear it inside it is HIS Spirit and has been with you since you were born and to everyone since Pentecost. (that's in there Folks who read this pray with and for this person!!

The bible is inspired by God, we need the Bible to be able to have something to go by. If we just listened to what people had to say then we would all be mixed up. I know right from wrong and so do other people and why do you think that is? It is not easy to be a christian, you have to be willing to be broken down and molded into what God wants you to be. The word of God is taken by faith and if you don't have faith in it then how could it work for you? When you know what the word of God is then you can apply it to your life, and also help other people that are in need of Him. The Lord has changed my life. And it is by his works not my own. I have tried my way and it never worked for me. It was and is God!

Yes, I do believe that Jesus approves of the written Bible.
It is a means of people knowing the truth, which sets people free.
The entrance of His Word brings light.

God's Word to us (in the form of the Holy Bible) is written by men UNDER the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That is my source of faith and trust that it is indeed, the Word of God.

The point of writing down information is to preserve it's integrity. Imagine the problems involved handing down info by word of mouth.

The bible is in no way about God. That is a hate filled book that has been twisted and fabricated to instill fear.
