Normally you would cook it for 30 mins, per pound. If frozen add a further 20 minutes.
The same time frame would apply regardless of simmering or roasting.

Not certain what you mean by pulled pork, but if it is to be shredded, or just pulled apart I would perhaps give it a further 30 mins.

All up probably 4 hours

I would cook (BOIL IT) it for 4-5 hours. For pulled pork, the longer the better, because it will shred easier. Make sure you don't shred it until you have let it cooled several hours in the cooking liquid.

If you don't already have an idea what to put in the boiling liquid, I would recommend adding 1 white onion cut in half, 4 whole cloves, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup salt, and 8 whole peppercorns. Throw these ingredients into the water that you use to boil the pork.

If you are cooking for pulled pork then you want it well done (about 180 -190 degrees). If you are cooking in the oven......at 350 degrees....anticipate about 30 minutes per pound. And since it is pork......please use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness.

Till it fall apart. Anywhere from 2 - 12 hours.
