Hmm I started wearing thongs when i was 15 yrs old... i bought them at places like victoria secret, or Discovery clothing... lol my bf now and even the ones back than thought it was pretty sexy so ya.. lol u can buy thongs at ne clothing store that sells undies and the best part.. u dont need ur mom there to buy them!!!

Thongs can be bought where ever they sell women's underwear.
I prefer a panty with at least a 1" side..on a GIRL/WOMAN, it's sexier. If the girl is chubby (nothing wrong with chubby gals, I like them) I would NOT suggest a thong, at least when someone can see them on her. Why wouldn't you want your mom to know? They're just UNDERWEAR. And who does the laundry in your house? Wouldn't mom eventually find out?
I often wonder how a gal can walk around with her underwear stuck in her butt crack.
(I'm not a gal, but I've been married to a very sexy gal ove 37 years who is small enough to wear STRING BIKINIS and looks good in them STILL.

I was probably about 16, but only because i thought they'd be uncomfortable. If you want one, go with the whole panty line thing. They're your underwear, but so help me you better not be showing them to anyone yet. Trust me!, keep your thong to yourself for a while. And you can get a thong anywhere. I think even catalogs for teens like Alloy and crap sell them.

i started wearing thongs when i was in the 8th grade. not because i wanted people to know i had one on but because i was into jeans that had no back pockets and i didnt want my pantyline to show. they are actually comfrortable! you could get them @ walmart or target something like that but just tell your mom that you want to go look @ something else and then go secretly and get them and put them in your purse(dont steal them..well not unless your bold enough) then when you get home you put them in a place that she would never think to look and when it needs to be washed you wash it in the bathroom sink and let them air dry over night or put them in the dryer and get them before she does. hey i know exactly what you are talking about b/c i wen through it.but if u wanna ask me somethin else u can call me on my cell. 870-489-5747. im just trynna help u. i got mine at age 13 and my mom still doesnt know! go to the mall wit a friend and have her buy it so it will be on her reciept and not yours then pay her back. You can get them for a good price at Vanity. and also american eagle has cute ones too. guys usually like them.
when wearing one at the house dont bend over in front of your mom in case you show it or something. and wash your own laundry

Thats funny, ecause im the same age, and i had to buy them without my mom and dad knowing. i just recently got caught doing laundry. go to the mall with your friends, and buy victorias secret pink thongs. when you get home walk straight to your room, but if your parents insists on check your bags, put them in your purse before you get home. (but make sure you buy them!!lol)

What do you need a thong for? Your 14 no one should be seeing your underwear anyway. Girls don't wear thongs for themselves they wear them for their partners. Please just wait.

I was like 16 when I started wearing them. I got them at regular stores, Sears, JC Penneys, Target, Old Navy. Have you talked to your mom? My mom was ok with it as long as I was buying them.
