I would advise that you be baptised and if you are not already become a member of a local church. You should study Gods word and Pray also try telling others about the free Gift that you have received.I am with you I love to sing and have written some songs but I do not know how to go on from here but I am trusting that God will show me the way and am doing my best to improve my ability

First of all, read God's word. Spend time with Him each day, but don't let it become a chore. View your relationship with Christ as a privilege, and in doing so, you will discover more joy than you ever dreamed possible.
I would suggest that you be baptized as soon as possible because the Word of God commands that we be baptized.
Ultimately, your relationship with Christ is just that: a relationship. You must maintain daily communications with Him through prayer and studying His word...this will strengthen your relationship. You have to put some effort into every relationship, but the rewards of being in a personal relationship with Christ are unfathomable! We have a great reward in Him!
Trust Him, believe His word, and never put your faith in anyone else...that is how you will lead a victorious Christian life!

If you are a woman, God is not dealing with you to be a minister, Woman is not called of God to be a minister. If you are a man, Then You need to repent, & you say you are a Christian & never been baptized, Then you need to be baptized by complete immursion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 2:38-47 & you shall receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost

Well if you say that you have not been Baptised, you could always start there. I had been saved for about a year before I did it, and I didn't think it would make a difference. But boy was I wrong. It felt like I got so much closer to the Lord. I started reading my Bible more, because it seemed like I had this incredible craving for knowledge about Him and His word.

Hello What a blessing to see your post. Read the Bible and meditate on Gods word, get baptised when you feel ready, use your gifts of song and writing to glorify God not man, seek godly fellowship, spend time in prayer praise and thanksgiving with the Lord. Spend time listenting to the Lord. Seek God continually.
see Psalm 105:4.
God bless you and keep you in His care

Baptism is an outer sign of an inner change in your life. Jesus was baptized showing that this is something we should do. It' not a requirement, but it is a good example for those you are witnessing to. Sing on in His Grace.
Randy Travis wrote a song about baptism, but I can't remember the name right now....about the old man going down and the new man coming up.

Well, Baptism is a confirmation that you have accepted Christ.
That might be a good thing to do, career or not.
As to the career, you should immerse yourself into God's word daily if you are going to write about Him in your songs.
The more you read and understand, the better a person you will become and the better your music will be.
