look on the back of the intake manifold, beside the throttle body. it will have a plug of 3 or 5 wires going to it. the plug is usuall white, or offwhite

It is built into the airflow meter. You must buy the whole airflow meter to replace the air intake sensor. Many times the wiring is bad on those cars - pulled out pins or a break/burn in the wiring.
Sometimes a code will appear if the key is on and the connector for the airflow meter is loose or not connected. I don't know why you are asking but it is rare to have an intake temp issue - unless the airflow meter was contaminated by anything flowing through it other than air.

If you have the 4 or 6 cylinder it is on the air filter housing neck before the tube to the throttle body. It is built into the Mass Airflow Sensor.
