Is there a way to get around this and pay it while I'm serving? I want to join but dont have any money to pay it off any time soon. Is there a way I can get this fine reduce since i'm trying to do something good?

Borrow the money from a relative, and pay them back with your military pay.

Agree with the first answerer, ask the recruiting officer, he/she is supposed to be helping you. Also try requesting a court date and asking the judge to reduce the fine or find another way to pay (volunteer??).... if you've been in trouble with the law and you're trying to get your chit together and do right, they may be more willing to help you. Ask if the recruiter will go with you to court...

I owed $35 for a fine for disorderly conduct. I too had to pay it before my entry date. Be a man!! Pay what you owe!

I have a greeat idea: Ask the military. Why do you think someone on here would know the answer to that?
