I've got some suggestions that have worked for me, hopefully they will you too. first you need to do something relaxing like maybe take a long bubble bath try to find some soap and body lotion that have lavender in it as it is known for its calming effect. (you could even light a lavender candle and turn off the lights in the bathroom) Slip on some comfy pj's and get yourself some chamomile tea (Sleepy Time Tea has great flavors and its sold at Tops) to drink. They have as well some cd's that have soft soothing sounds like rain and waves crashing on the beach that promote calmness. when i lay in bed i think of laying on a cloud which relaxes me or laying on an inner tube in the water and concentrate on the waves. key thing is to relax. If it don't work talk to a doctor .

There are a number of things you could try. Exercise for at least 45 minutes during the day to remove the restlessness you feel at night.
The first few times you try it you will feel very tired, but soon you will get the hang of it and will be able to fall asleep as soon as you hit the sack.
Don't drink any coffee or soda 2 hours before you go to bed, or else it will be difficult to fell asleep.

Take a long hot shower and wash your hair with hot hot water right before u go to bed.
Usually when i cant sleep its because im stressed about something. Diaries help. Write everything down in diary what you know you need to do, what you are mad abour etc
maybe you should make a schedule for the day and try to get in bed earlier. Then-due to boredom and time- you will fall asleep faster/

You might want to try some over the counter sleep medicine. There's A LOT of great sleep aids out there. Exercising really gets your body ready to calm down... do that a couple hours before you go to bed. Also reading. Good luck!
