When the blood glucose drops,or sugar goes down as with a diabetic after taking more insulin than needed, you feel dizzy, but not like the fainting feeling. You get shaky and thirsty and can't think properly or speak coherently. You could go into shock if you don't eat or drink a sugary food or drink quickly. A non-diabetic also can get this after doing strenuous exercise or work with out having had starchy or sugary food or drink .
