Aggravation by action is overrated and only lands you in trouble.

I say ignore her. Answer only when neccessary. Ask her no questions and expect nothing from her. Fix your own dinner before she has the chance. Wash your own clothes. Do the things that you normally get in trouble for not doing (cleaning the room, chores, etc.).

Yet, do it all with complete detachment. Ignoring her will make her doubt her worth and place in the family. If she tries to make you talk to her, simply tell her you have nothing to say.

And don't cop an attitude. Attitude is way overrated.

Give her a chance. She'll never be your mom by blood, but I've seen relationships "develop" and over time grow stronger than the biological relationship. You are the loser if you purposely aggravate the step mom or anyone for that matter. You need her whether you realize it or not.

One thing that always got to me was if someone was mean to me in a nice way. It would be like 2 hours later and I would think... Did I just get insulted?.. If you can master it.. It is very annoying! Then if you get called on it, you can just say that you didn't mean it like that.

Give her a chance! She is not your mother and never will be, but she is your dad's best friend and he would want you to learn to accept and even eventually find her to be a friend too.

I tried to have a good relationship with my man's teenage girls, and they never really accepted me. It was so sad, because then we broke up and he was heartbroken too, but he felt he had to put their wishes first.

WHOOO !!! i luv these kindsa things!!!! LOL props to u just for getting on this track!! hahaha ok lol so onto business
----first of all....if u dont wanta get caught...then as horrible as it sounds, u hafta build up her trust in u!! then she'll trust u enough to kno that even if she does suspect someone, hopefully it wont be u! lol ---------
so i would suggest start doin little things t o annoy her, like ... not blatently, but just kinda discretely. like say...play ur best "parent advisory" (winkwink) music not so loud, but just constantly, so it really annoys her...u can build up the sound as u want!! lol or just act really obnoxious! good luck!! xoxo, caitlyn

I think that's a little childish.....I can understand that you don't like your stepmother, but there's no reason to deliberately aggravate her. your dad loves your stepmother, and she loves him...I am sure she even loves you. talk to your dad about how you feel, maybe you both can come up with something to help you change your mind about her.

You need to know her hot buttons. There must be some issues that she can not stand.

Pack your stuff and run away. That will surely drive her nuts. I would love it if my stepdaughter did that....oops, I mean I would be devastated.

Try growing up.
