It could be a urinary tract infection like urethritis or an STD. There isn't anything you can do at home to treat either so you'll need to see the dr. Just go and tell him it hurts to pee, they'll probably take a urine sample before probing much further. Hopefully, it will end there and you'll get some antibiotics.

Prostatitis and urethritis would be the most common causes. Also, some people are very sensitive to potassium so see if it's related to diet. Vibramycin is often effective in these types of conditions. You should consult a urologist if you haven't already.

If it hurts/burns when you urinate go to a doctor. You could have something as benign as a urinary tract infection or you could have a STD. Get it checked before it gets worse, pain is a good indicator that something is not right with your body.

Sometimes it happens when you have a cold ,and/or you are dehydrated because you didn't drink enough. If it persists, you'll need a blood test,a urine test and see a doctor.
